IP Whitelisting

IP whitelisting is a security practice that limits access to networks or systems based on approved IP addresses. It requires compiling a list of trusted IP addresses that can connect to a particular resource or service. When a connection attempt is made, the incoming IP address is checked against the whitelist, and access is granted only if it matches.
